Senior Project Manager
to join our Building Science & Resiliency team in our St. Louis, MO office.

As the ideal candidate, you are excited to join our project team to help our clients make informed decisions regarding building enclosures of existing and new buildings of all types and sizes. In this role you will learn about the business, build your own professional network and work closely with senior professionals in the industry. Every day will enhance your knowledge, skills, and passion for what you do.

The Senior Project Manager position is ideal for someone looking to build their skills for career advancement and professional growth. The ideal candidate will be familiar with commercial construction services and have at least 5 years of experience in the architectural, engineering, assessment, and consulting industry.

A Day in the life of a Senior Project Manager

  • Partner with Health & Safety to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Lead project teams by providing guidance and mentorship, ensuring successful execution of technical work, senior-level review, and client management.
  • Assist the Manager in developing and implementing regional strategies aligned with the Company's goals.
  • Oversee project budgets and keep staff on task.
  • Meet with clients and attend Client and Industry organization meetings/events.
  • Work to foster strong relationships with existing Clients and develop new Clients.
  • Gather opportunities for work and then prepare/review proposals for potential work.
  • Assist the Manager to help drive a culture of effective people management and career development with a focus on growth and preparing successors for key roles.
  • Engage in professional organizations, attend conferences when necessary, and/or contribute to technical committees in line with their field of work.
  • Lead by example in the office and in the field in accordance with Pinchin's Core Values and desired culture.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

What You Bring To The Pinchin Team

  • 5 years experience in the construction/building industry.
  • 1 plus years of previous management experience.
  • Technical understanding of building enclosure systems (waterproofing, roofing, facades, glazing, fenestrations, air/vapor barriers, etc.) and construction.
  • Project management and budgeting experience.
  • Demonstrated success in client acquisition and retention.
  • Ability to effectively plan and execute projects, prioritizing work, and communicating scope changes in a timely manner.
  • Must be detail-oriented and a team player.
  • Excellent writing, editing, technical and organizational skills along with the ability to problem solve.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to work independently and also thrive in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, adequate insurance, and availability to travel for work when required. Mileage is paid when personal vehicle is used.
  • Availability to work outside core business hours. Occasional overtime and afterhours work is a requirement of the position.
  • Availability to drive regionally to project jobsites and availability to assist other regions by occasionally flying to their location. Total travel is typically less than 20% of a standard work week.
  • Ability to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision, and the ability to pass a company physical.
