Varsity Assistant Lacrosse Coach

  • Coaching and training: Assist with planning and running practices, teaching and refining individual skills and team strategies.
  • Game-day support: Help with game-day preparation, including scouting opponents, and provide in-game support to the head coach.
  • Athlete development: Support the overall development of student-athletes, focusing on physical health, academic excellence, and personal conduct.
  • Logistics: Help manage team functions like scheduling, transportation, and equipment inventory.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Sport knowledge: A strong understanding of lacrosse rules, techniques, and strategies is essential.
  • Experience: Previous lacrosse coaching or playing experience is preferred.
  • Compliance: Knowledge of NJSIAA rules

Additional responsibilities

  • Monitor student-athlete well-being, both mentally and physically.
  • Maintain records of team and individual accomplishments.
  • Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned by the head coach or athletic director.
  • Participate in camps, clinics, and community outreach events.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $3, $4,000.00 per year
