Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced 2nd Shift Production Lead to oversee daily manufacturing operations within our facility. This leadership role is essential in ensuring production efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, manufacturing experience, and the ability to lead a team on the factory floor during the evening shift.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of assembly line workers during the 2nd shift to ensure production goals are achieved.
  • Operate and oversee the use of forklifts, power tools, and hand tools to facilitate manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor workflow, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and perform basic maintenance or escalate repairs as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Conduct quality checks on products to meet company standards.
  • Train new team members on equipment operation, safety procedures, and assembly techniques.
  • Collaborate with management to optimize production schedules and improve operational efficiency.

Skills

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or factory environment, with specific knowledge of assembly lines and warehouse operations.
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely.
  • Prior experience with warehouse management or manufacturing facilities is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively during the second shift.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills for troubleshooting mechanical issues quickly.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices within a manufacturing setting. This position offers an opportunity to lead within a dynamic manufacturing environment while utilizing your technical skills and leadership abilities to drive operational success.

Pay: $60, $65,000.00 per year
