The OR Environmental Services Aide's primary responsibility is the provision of services relating to all cleaning and sanitizing duties in all areas of the Operating Room. The OR Environmental Services Aide works closely with the OR Nursing and Medical staff in the provision of "between case cleaning" and overall maintenance of the Operating Room in a sanitary, orderly, and safe environment. OR Environmental Services employees may also be responsible for the moving of equipment in and out of OR suites and minimal stocking of supplies in ante rooms.

Salary: $19.84 per hour

Essential Job Qualifications

  1. Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred

  2. Experience: 3-5 years experience as Environmental Services preferred

  3. Training/Certification: One month to learn job routine. Speaks and understands English.

  4. Other: Good work knowledge and demonstrated use of proper body mechanics NOTE: Hospital to provide proper body mechanics training for affected employees.
