Recruiter – Nursing Focus 

Midway University seeks a motivated, student-focused professional to recruit and enroll prospective Nursing students, including traditional, transfer, and second-degree candidates. This role serves as a primary point of contact for students pursuing nursing careers while also supporting general Admissions operations as needed. 

The Nursing Recruiter builds strong relationships with prospective students and influencers, provides clear guidance on program requirements, and manages the full recruitment pipeline—from inquiry to enrollment. Travel is required for high school visits, college fairs, healthcare pathway events, and community outreach. 

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Recruit and engage prospective Nursing students through campus visits, community outreach, college fairs, virtual events, and digital communication. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with students, families, school counselors, career/tech centers, and healthcare partners. 
  • Provide accurate information on Nursing pathways, prerequisites, clinical expectations, financial aid, and enrollment steps. 
  • Conduct individual appointments, group presentations, and campus tours. 
  • Use CRM systems to track prospects, manage communication, and meet enrollment goals. 
  • Assist with general Admissions activities, including events, application support, and recruitment initiatives for all populations. 
  • Travel throughout assigned territory as part of the recruitment plan. 
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, master's preferred. 
  • Experience in recruitment, admissions, customer service, or related field. 
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse student populations. 
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment. 
  • Proficient with CRM or student information systems. 
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
