What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner with professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor for suspicious activity or unauthorized individuals while patrolling the location.
• Maintain awareness of site access points and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Complete incident reports and document any security-related events or observations encountered while on duty.
• Communicate and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed during critical situations.
• Adhere to all Allied Universal policies, procedures, and training requirements while carrying out assigned responsibilities.
• Operate assigned equipment responsibly, including radios and, if applicable, firearms, in accordance with company and client guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have a minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
