Job Description:

The NextGen Trainer works with staff to improve their knowledge of NextGen EMR functionality, to improve documentation, efficiency, and to assess workflows. Training is conducted in a wide variety of settings, including small/large classrooms, one-on-one, group meetings, and web-based virtual sessions. This position serves as the subject matter expert for training on all EMR applications. The NextGen Trainer will provide ongoing support and continued education to all departments within Valle del Sol.

Job Qualifications:

• 3-5 years' experience in training or education in a healthcare setting.
• 3-5 years of hand-on experience using and/or supporting NextGen EMR/EPM.
• Hands on experience with medical chart and related paperwork.
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Active licensure (RN, LPN, LCSW, or similar) is strongly preferred.
• Ability to assume sole or independent responsibility for various assigned projects and tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to organize and prioritize various time-sensitive assignments.
• Ability to analyze and anticipate problems.
• Ability to communicate clearly at all organizational levels.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Strong training/facilitation skills (experience with NextGen EMR preferred).
• Working for a FQHC experience preferred.

Salary:$65,000 - $85,000/annual salary
