Expected salary range of $145,800 to $162,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Complete ownership of a digital product. The product owner uses business knowledge and technical expertise to develop information system plans that support business strategies. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible to gather, analyze, and translate market, customer and operational needs into product requirements and prioritizing them while solving for various - potentially, opposing outcomes. The product owner will support the product team in scaling the platform. Your job will be to ensure the team builds the right thing the right way, with the expectation that we will be wrong, but nimble enough to continue to move the product in the right direction as we receive customer feedback.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Define Product specifications, and manage execution of those specifications
• Lead / coach / guide product design and development teams
• Be a team player, fill in gaps and take ownership across the board
• Maintain technical knowledge and business acumen within own discipline or function

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline and a minimum of 8+ years of work experience as a project manager, consultant, or other related experience with managing products or projects with software developers - or minimum of 12 years of relevant combination of education and work experience
• 3+ years of experience working as a founder, entrepreneur in residence, product owner or similar experience.
• Experience in AGILE environments (leading tight sprint planning, standups, retros, etc.)
• Ability to work/review design assets.
• Product experience with cloud-based systems.
• Technical experience developing software or working in a technical environment.
• Knowledge of multiple functional areas, including product management, engineering, UX/UI, sales, customer support, finance or marketing. Understanding of go-to-market commerce enablers.
• Ability to achieve strategic goals and evolve product strategy based on research, data, and industry trends in an innovative and fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Successfully defined and launched a product or large product capability to the market
• Previous experience in developing requirements, business processes, opportunity assessments and technical alternatives

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in Science or Business
• 5 + years' experience working as a founder / entrepreneur in residence / product owner in an Agile (or startup) environment
• Experience working with external facing software products, highly preferred 
• Technical degree in computer science.
• Ability to work/review design assets inside of Figma (preferred)
• Experience in the commercial energy space
