Job Title: Field Manager
As a Field Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the operational excellence of our cleaning teams. Your dynamic leadership will ensure that our properties meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality. You will be at the forefront of managing janitorial and laundry services, driving efficiency, and fostering a positive environment for both staff and guests.
What you'll do
Daily Operations & Team Leadership
- Schedule daily assignments for cleaners in Spanish and English, routing for efficiency.
- Communicate with cleaners (EN/ES) to answer questions, coordinate access, and resolve issues in real time.
- Lead the cleaning team and any field supervisors—set expectations, coach performance, and run brief daily huddles.
- Hire, onboard, and train new cleaners on checklists, safety, chemicals, and customer standards.
- Perform quality‑control checks (in‑home inspections, photo standards, checklists) and coach for improvement.
- Clean as needed to cover call‑offs, VIP touch‑ups, or first‑time deep cleans.
Customer Success & Scheduling
- Communicate with customers regarding complaints, urgent issues, reschedules, and cancellations—own the outcome.
- Proactively check in with customers after first cleans and periodically to drive 5‑star reviews and recurring bookings.
- Keep cancellation and reschedule rates low by offering fast solutions and alternatives.
Systems & Admin
- Own Jobber: maintain pipelines, online booking, visit schedules, reminders, Client Hub, templates, and reporting—continuously optimize features.
- Approve cleaner payroll each week (timecards, job times, tips), and confirm visit completion.
- Oversee Portland laundry operations (linens/towels), manage runs, and track inventory.
- Maintain the storage locker: organize supplies, track stock, issue kits, and control costs.
- Track KPIs (on‑time starts, first‑clean quality, repeat conversion, NPS/CSAT, review volume).
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
- Route adherence ≥ 95%, on‑time starts ≥ 90%.
- First‑clean customer satisfaction ≥ 4.7/5 with 10+ new Google reviews.
- Quality re‑work rate ≤ 3% of jobs.
- Recurring conversion from first‑time cleans ≥ 35% (target varies by season).
- Fully implemented Jobber workflows and accurate weekly payroll approvals.
Must‑Have Qualifications
- 3+ years in residential cleaning or housekeeping or janitorial supervision/leadership.
- Bilingual Spanish/English (professional working proficiency).
- Proven scheduling/dispatch experience and customer communication chops.
- Comfort with field‑service software (Jobber preferred; open to similar tools).
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, smartphone; ability to travel across the Portland metro.
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 30–40 lbs, bend/kneel, and work on your feet during inspections or fill‑in cleans.
- Work authorization in the U.S. and willingness to complete a background check.
Nice to Have
- Experience launching or improving online booking, automations, and Client Hub in Jobber.
- Prior hiring/training experience; English/Spanish written translation ability for checklists or SOPs.
- Knowledge of fabric care (for laundry ops).
Schedule & Availability
- 40 hours/week; core hours typically 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (flexible).
- Occasional early starts, evenings, or weekend rotation to handle urgent customer needs or inspections.

- Pay: $600-1,250/week
