About Us

We are a vertically integrated, California-licensed cannabis company operating in cultivation, manufacturing, and distribution. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper / Office Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting, administrative operations, and regulatory compliance.

This role is critical to keeping our financials accurate, our operations organized, and our state compliance in good standing.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping

  • Manage daily bookkeeping and financial records (AP/AR, journal entries, reconciliations)
  • Maintain accurate general ledger and chart of accounts
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and cash activity
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for ownership and accountants
  • Coordinate with CPA on month-end close, tax filings, and audits
  • Track inventory costs, COGS, and production expenses
  • Assist with budgeting, cash flow tracking, and financial forecasting

Cannabis Compliance & METRC

  • Manage METRC entries for cultivation, manufacturing, and/or distribution
  • Ensure inventory tracking aligns with physical counts and financial records
  • Assist with compliance reporting and record retention
  • Coordinate METRC transfers, adjustments, and reconciliations
  • Support compliance with DCC regulations and internal SOPs

Office Management & Administration

  • Handle vendor onboarding, invoices, and payments
  • Maintain organized digital and physical records
  • Support payroll coordination (hours tracking, reports, compliance support)
  • Assist with licensing documentation and renewals
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal staff, vendors, and professionals
  • Improve office systems, workflows, and internal controls

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (cannabis industry preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with METRC strongly preferred (Not required)
  • Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks Online/Desktop preferred)
  • Strong understanding of inventory accounting and reconciliations
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Pay: $ $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
