National Star Services is a 27-year-old facility management company providing different services all nationwide and we are now in search of a Kitchen Helper for our location in**Des Plaines, IL

Duties and Responsibilities

• Be part of a team, creating high-end products served daily to hundreds of international airline guests

• Assist chefs and cooks with different tasks in the kitchen: food preparation, cutting fruits and vegetables, preparing small dishes, food platting and setting up airline catering trays

• Read, understand and follow menu specifications

• Keep kitchen areas clean and tidy

• Comply with hygiene, quality and safety standards at all times

Schedule: Monday – Sunday (2 days off in between)

From 6:00 AM. to 2:30 PM

(Weekly schedule will be provided by supervisor.)**Pay rate: $17.00/hr.

**BI-WEEKLY PAY**

Requirements:
• Per our client's request, Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required for this role.

• Work experience in a kitchen or manufacturing site.

• Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced environment.

• Heavy work load and standing for prolonged periods of time necessary.

• Must have own transportation to get to and from work.
• Two updated valid forms of IDs.

• Slip Resistant shoes at work.
