Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, with expertise in various systems including powertrain and diesel engine repair. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues efficiently. The Automotive Mechanic will work on a variety of vehicles and will utilize both hand tools and advanced diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools to identify problems accurately.
  • Conduct repairs on powertrain systems, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrains.
  • Engage in diesel engine repair when necessary, demonstrating proficiency in handling complex systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's needs and repair status.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in automotive repair with a strong understanding of various vehicle systems.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment relevant to automotive service.
  • Experience with powertrain systems and diesel engine repair is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective troubleshooting.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the automotive field.
