Job DescriptionYou will be a System Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) Engineer at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Grand Prairie, TX, supporting several Tactical Missiles, Precision Fires, and Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) Development efforts. Our team is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions, and you will play a key role in integrating and testing GMLRS-based munitions with launchers, and planning, coordinating, and executing flight test range activities.What You Will Be DoingAs an IT&E Engineer, you will be responsible for:Developing, preparing, and executing comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for missile processing, ground, and flight testsPerforming as an asset manager for the missile from initial builds to integration, then ground and flight testsSupporting program meetings and reporting, and supporting customer meetings and periodic program reviewsCoordinating with personnel from different functional areas to prepare needed resources for successful completion of testingServing as the Control Account Manager (CAM) for IT&E-related work packagesPreparing and supporting technical interchange meetings, customer design reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, and Pre-Ship ReviewsProviding troubleshooting leadership, identifying cause and corrective action to resolve technical issues, and developing re-test instructions when neededIdentifying and leading the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and increase the repeatability, efficiency, and throughput of test operationsEnsuring that configuration management is maintained with all documentationWhy Join UsWe're looking for a highly skilled and experienced IT&E Engineer to join our team.
