Field Service Technician/Parking Guidance Low-Voltage 1+yr

We're looking for a Field Service Technician who enjoys hands-on technical work and delivering outstanding customer support. You'll install, service, and maintain parking guidance, access control, and low-voltage IP-based systems at client sites nationwide. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in solving problems, working independently, and representing the company with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure parking guidance sensors, cameras, and networked controllers.
- Troubleshoot low-voltage wiring, IP/RS485 communication, and hardware issues.
- Perform on-site maintenance, system checks, and customer training as needed.
- Communicate clearly with clients, providing updates, explanations, and service reports.
- Work closely with the support team to ensure timely issue resolution and quality service.
- Follow safety standards and maintain a professional, organized work environment.
- Travel regularly within the continental U.S. for field installations and support visits.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in field service, low-voltage, or technical support.
- Working knowledge of IP networking, serial communication (RS485), and cabling.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficient with hand tools, multimeters, and basic diagnostic equipment.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver's license required; travel flexibility is a must.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
