Position Overview

We are seeking a Data Platform Architect to support the development and optimization of enterprise data systems and cloud data solutions. In this role, you'll contribute to the design and growth of data platforms that support analytics, reporting, and operational workflows. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on technical ability, clear communication, and a collaborative mindset.

This position offers hybrid remote flexibility and is open to both full-time and part-time schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in architecting and maintaining enterprise data platforms and cloud data systems.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines, data warehouses, and integration workflows.
  • Support data governance standards, documentation, and quality practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
  • Analyze system performance and recommend improvements.
  • Stay informed on industry technologies and contribute to platform enhancement decisions.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or cloud-based data platform work.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with ETL/ELT workflows.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Preferred:

  • Experience with data warehouse tools (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar).
  • Familiarity with data governance and security practices.
  • Experience working in enterprise or mid-size technology environments.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary Range: $155,000 – $165,000 per year
  • Annual Bonus: Typically 10–20% of base salary
