About The Role
A growing organization in the project-based services industry is seeking an experienced
Accounting & Finance Manager
to oversee the full accounting lifecycle and provide strategic financial leadership. This is a hands-on role ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys solving complex challenges, thrives in a collaborative environment, and brings both operational excellence and strategic insight to the table.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of accounting and financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to support informed business decisions.
- Manage cash flow, credit, and financial risk to ensure ongoing financial stability.
- Oversee compliance with audits, insurance requirements, licensing, and employment regulations.
- Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor management, invoicing, and collections.
- Administer payroll, benefits, and personnel recordkeeping; support onboarding and HR policy updates.
- Partner with leadership on long-term financial planning, compensation strategy, and business performance initiatives.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and financial visibility.

- Highly organized and detail-oriented, maintaining accuracy and structure across all financial records.
- Proactive communicator who ensures clarity and transparency with internal stakeholders.
- Strategic yet hands-on leader capable of managing day-to-day accounting while contributing to long-term planning.
- Skilled in managing vendor relationships, negotiating terms, and leading financial discussions.
- Experienced in accounting and finance operations within a project-based, service-oriented environment (company size: $5M-$10M revenue range preferred).
- Collaborative partner comfortable working cross-functionally across departments and teams.
- Equally strong as both an analyst (interpreting trends and performance metrics) and a reporter (ensuring compliance and accuracy).
