Program Manager - Automotive CRM Solutions

About Us

We are a Salesforce consulting firm specializing in the automotive retail industry. Our team helps dealership groups modernize operations, harness data, and enhance customer experiences through customized Salesforce solutions. We're expanding and seeking a Program Manager who understands the dealership world and knows how to make CRM systems truly work in practice.

About the Role

As the Program Manager - Automotive CRM Solutions, you will oversee the successful delivery and ongoing optimization of Salesforce-based CRM programs for automotive dealership clients. You'll act as the operational and strategic link between our consulting team and dealership leadership, ensuring solutions align with business objectives, integrate seamlessly into daily operations, and deliver measurable results.

You will manage multiple client programs from onboarding through adoption, coordinating resources, driving timelines, monitoring success metrics, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction. While Salesforce experience is a plus, your deep understanding of dealership CRM systems (VinSolutions, DealerSocket, Elead, Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK CRM, etc.) will be critical to translating real-world processes into effective CRM strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary program lead for a portfolio of dealership clients, overseeing CRM solution planning, implementation, and ongoing success.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (consultants, technical specialists, trainers) to deliver high-quality, on-time solutions.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, scope, and deliverables to align with dealership objectives.
  • Lead client onboarding, training, and change management initiatives to ensure strong CRM adoption.
  • Translate dealership workflows and goals into CRM configurations, enhancement roadmaps, and best practice recommendations.
  • Monitor program performance metrics, identify optimization opportunities, and proactively address risks or issues.
  • Facilitate regular client check-ins, executive updates, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Maintain program documentation and contribute to internal process improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for additional solutions or services to drive client value and retention.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing or supporting CRM systems in a dealership environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of dealership sales and/or service operations.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as VinSolutions, Elead, DealerSocket, or similar.
  • Proven ability to lead programs or projects involving multiple stakeholders and deliverables.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple programs in parallel.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus (training provided).

Nice to Have

  • Previous CRM or BDC management experience within a dealership.
  • Exposure to Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Automotive Cloud.
  • Consulting or client-facing project management background.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Career growth opportunities into Salesforce specialization.
  • Collaborative team with deep automotive and CRM expertise.
  • Access to cutting-edge dealership technology and innovation.
