Content Development Intern

Tri Delta is seeking a Regional Content Development Intern to support the creation of engaging digital content that highlights our collegiate and alumnae chapters. This paid, part-time internship is ideal for a creative, self-motivated communicator who is passionate about storytelling, social media and brand-aligned content. Tri Delta's Brand Advancement team helps bring the Tri Delta story to life by elevating the voices, experiences and achievements of our members across all channels.
Interns will work approximately 10 hours per month and collaborate closely with the Digital Content Development Manager, contributing to storytelling efforts that enhance Tri Delta's digital presence.
- Please note that the Tri Delta offices will be closed for the holidays beginning Monday, December 22nd and reopen Monday, January 5th. We welcome applications during this period We will review your applications and answer questions about the positions when we return in the new year.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, curate and create content from collegiate chapters and alumnae within your assigned region. Travel may be required and if so all travel expenses will be covered.
- Draft short-form stories, spotlights, captions and social-ready content aligned with Tri Delta's brand voice.
- Assist in monitoring regional trends, events and member achievements to identify new content opportunities.
- Upload content, photos and chapter submissions into Tri Delta's content management systems.
- Support the creation of visual assets, such as simple graphics or photo selections, following brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Digital Content Development Manager to ensure consistency of messaging at all touchpoints.
- Participate in monthly check-ins and content planning meetings.
Ideal Candidate Characteristics
- Strong writer with the ability to craft clear, engaging, member-focused content.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content trends.
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage deadlines independently with limited supervision.
- Comfortable communicating with collegiate chapters, alumnae, volunteers and staff and comfortable being "on camera."
- Passionate about Tri Delta's purpose and excited to amplify the member experience.
Time Commitment & Compensation
- 10 hours per month, February 1 – end of Spring semester with the possibility to extend through the Summer
- $15/hour, paid monthly
- Remote position; flexible scheduling
- Possibility to travel to nearby and national events, e.g. CLC

Required Qualifications
- Must be a collegiate member of Tri Delta in good standing.
- Interest in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, social media or related fields.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and Microsoft with the ability to produce clean, visually compelling designs across platforms.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand standards.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program at an accredited college or university
- Must have access to a reliable personal computer capable of smoothly running Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and Microsoft Office to support consistent, high-quality work.
- Must have an iPhone for filming content
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Preference for chapter members near Tucson, Memphis, and Denver
