Position Overview
We're looking for a skilled and organized Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance and property condition management of more than 300 single-family homes and small office suites across DeKalb and Fulton County. You'll be central to keeping these properties safe, functional, and looking their best.
What You'll Do
You'll spend most of your time in the field handling repairs, inspections, and follow-ups. You'll manage a steady flow of maintenance tickets and help make sure the entire portfolio stays in great shape.
Your day-to-day work will include:
Managing and completing 3–5 maintenance tickets each day, including plumbing, electrical, light HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs
Taking full ownership of work orders in AppFolio by updating notes, uploading photos, tracking progress, and closing tickets promptly
Communicating clearly with tenants, owners, and vendors to schedule work and set expectations
Prioritizing maintenance tasks based on safety, urgency, and long-term property preservation
Coordinating specialty vendors for larger or complex projects and verifying quality of work
Job Type: Full-time
Base Pay: $70,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
