Child Care Assistant

Duties:

- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the daycare

- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow

- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, mealtime, and naptime

- Teach basic skills such as colors, shapes, numbers, and letters through interactive and fun activities

- Monitor children's behavior and address any disciplinary issues using positive behavior management techniques

- Collaborate with other daycare staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment

- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns

Experience:

- Previous experience working with children in a daycare, childcare, or educational setting

- Familiarity with childhood development stages and milestones

- Knowledge of first aid procedures for children

- Experience working with infants is a plus

- Understanding of special education needs is beneficial

Skills:

- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues

- Patience and compassion when working with young children

- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

- Creativity in developing engaging educational activities for children

- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to create a positive learning environment
