Pharmacy Buyer

Pharmacy Buyer at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance in Torrance, CA. This position is a Full-time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

The Pharmacy Purchasing agent position assists with the purchase of pharmaceuticals and supplies. Position maintains efficient systems for ordering, receiving and record-keeping. Researches and compiles data on use and purchases of all drugs and supplies utilized by the department.

Required Qualifications: 

• H.S. Diploma or GED. 
• California Pharmacy Technician License upon hire. 
• 1 year - Pharmacy technician or material procurement experience. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Coursework/Training - Pharmacy technician program (may be required in some states for pharmacy technicians). 
• 2 years - Inpatient Pharmacy Technician experience. 
• Pharmacy purchasing or Finance experience.
