As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver - Tech/Media in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading technology location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a strong visible presence. Your main focus will be on maintaining a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be required to operate a vehicle while on duty. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately during emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, including interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any unusual findings.
• Monitor access points and observe activities within the premises to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance as needed.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and security-related activities according to site procedures.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to support a secure and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and contractors in a tech and media-related setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
