Shape the future of digital entertainment at Prime Video, one of the world's leading transactional video-on-demand (TVOD) services. As Senior Content Acquisition Manager, you'll lead strategic partnerships and licensing negotiations with US Major Studios, Television Networks, and Independent Distributors to bring diverse premium content to millions of Prime Video customers worldwide. This role combines high-stakes content negotiations, new business development, and P&L ownership to drive growth in our global TVOD business.

You'll manage a diverse portfolio of content partnerships while spearheading the development and launch of new growth opportunities. Working at the intersection of content, technology, and customer experience, you'll help define how audiences discover and enjoy premium entertainment in the digital age.

Key job responsibilities
* Lead strategic licensing negotiations across multiple partner types: Major Hollywood Studios, Television Networks, Independent distributors
* Own P&L responsibility for assigned partnerships, including financial modeling, forecasting, and performance optimization
* Drive the development and launch of new TVOD features and growth opportunities, working cross-functionally with Product, Tech, and Operations teams
* Establish and nurture executive-level relationships across the entertainment industry
* Orchestrate release windows and promotional strategies that maximize value across diverse content types
* Lead go-to-market strategy, collaborating with Marketing, Merchandising, and Amazon Advertising teams
* Develop data-driven insights to optimize partner performance and customer experience across different content verticals
* Shape strategic roadmap for TVOD innovation and growth initiatives

About the team
Prime Video's Transactional Video on Demand business is a significant global offering that complements our subscription service with premium content across movies and television. Since our launch in 2006, we've built one of the world's largest digital entertainment stores, offering customers selection from major studios, television networks, and independent distributors.

Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years of account management, business development, content licensing or finance experience
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with end-to-end ownership of major project deliverables

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of digital video landscape, including solid understanding of digital video distribution technologies
- Experience with digital products and interactive entertainment
- Strong understanding of content windowing strategies across different types of programming

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $189,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
