Job Description:
We are seeking 5-8 years experienced Business/Data Analyst to join Billing & Revenue Assurance team.

Telecom background with hands-on experience in revenue assurance processes, data analysis, and validation. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to identify revenue leakages, validate billing data, and support continuous improvements in data integrity and process efficiency.

Requirements
:

  • 5 8 years of total experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst, preferably within the Telecom industry.
  • Solid understanding of Billing & Revenue Assurance processes (usage validation, rating, reconciliation, leakage detection, etc.).
  • Proficiency in SQL with the ability to write complex queries for data validation and comparative analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience with shell scripting (Linux/Unix environment) and Python preferred.
  • Understanding of ETL concepts and data processing flows.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Good to have: experience or working knowledge of Mobileum Revenue Assurance platform.

Responsibilities
:

  • Perform data analysis, reconciliation, and validation across multiple systems (billing, mediation, network, usage, etc.) to ensure accuracy and completeness of revenue streams.
  • Develop and execute SQL queries and scripts to identify anomalies, discrepancies, or missing data across datasets.
  • Work on revenue assurance controls, tracking key metrics and ensuring timely detection and closure of leakages.
  • Contribute to ETL processes by understanding data flow across systems and ensuring alignment with RA and billing requirements.
  • Develop and maintain shell scripts (and preferably Python scripts) for data extraction, automation, and analysis tasks.
  • Partner with business, IT, and operations teams to support billing integrity, rating accuracy, and process optimization.
  • Document findings, prepare reports, and present analytical insights to stakeholders.
  • Support implementation and enhancement of revenue assurance tools and frameworks.
