Role Overview
We're hiring a full-time W-2 Sales Representative to drive new business growth for Evolv IT.
In this role, you will:
- Hunt for new opportunities
- Have real conversations with business owners and executives about IT, risk, and productivity
- Work within a clear, performance-based system where:
- You lead deals appropriate to your experience and performance level
- You bring in senior reps on larger or more complex deals and share in the revenue
- Use both proven playbooks and your ability to think outside the box to open doors, create opportunities, and solve client problems
You are not just booking meetings for someone else. Everyone sells here. Your results determine your income and your path forward.
What You'll Do
- Prospect & book meetings - Use phone, email, LinkedIn, and networking to connect with decision-makers (owners, CEOs, COOs, GMs, etc.). Test creative angles and outreach ideas, as long as they're ethical and effective.
- Run discovery calls and meetings - Uncover pain around downtime, security gaps, slow IT response, frustrated staff, and growth-limiting tech issues.
- Position Evolv IT solutions - Present managed IT services, cybersecurity, cloud, and strategic IT support in terms of business outcomes: time, risk, revenue, and team productivity.
- Manage your pipeline - Keep opportunities updated in the CRM, follow up consistently, and move deals to a clear yes/no.
- Collaborate with technical experts - Work with internal technical teams to scope IT assessments, build proposals, and ensure clean handoffs to onboarding.
- Train and improve daily - Participate in regular sales training, roleplay, and coaching. We don't wing it, and we reward smart, creative ideas that move the needle.

- Consistently hitting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets
- A healthy, accurate pipeline and strong follow-up habits
- Regularly generating qualified meetings and closing new clients
- Demonstrating coachability, discipline, and a willingness to test new approaches when standard tactics stall

What We're Looking For
- 1–3+ years of B2B sales experience preferred
- IT, cybersecurity, SaaS, or technology services experience is a plus but not required
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting (phone, email, LinkedIn, events)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Competitive, self-driven, and willing to be held to clear standards
- Able to think strategically and creatively about how to reach and win over decision-makers
- Able to work from Birmingham, AL
- Authorized to work in the United States as a W-2 employee
