Footwear Etc. is currently seeking Retail Associates to join our team. As a family-run business with over 30 years of experience and 11 store locations, we are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and creating a delightful shopping experience for our valued clientele. Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive shopping experience for all customers who visit our stores.
  • Identify and understand customers' needs by actively listening, suggesting suitable products, and answering any questions they may have.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of our wide range of high-quality footwear and accessories, including features, benefits, and product details.
  • Efficiently handle merchandise, including assisting customers with finding the right sizes, organizing displays, and managing inventory.
  • Utilize company tools effectively, such as the point-of-sale (POS) system, shipping programs, and other software, to facilitate sales and ensure accurate transactions.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and effectively communicate information to customers, fellow team members, and management.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Maintain cash handling accuracy and proficiency in cashiering responsibilities.
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule, including working on weekdays, weekends, and some holidays, based on business needs.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure the cleanliness and organization of the store.
