Ace Hardware Thrift Supply in New Kensington is looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales & Warehouse Associate (Full-Time).

As a Sales & Warehouse Associate, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming shopping experience — assisting customers, maintaining store appearance, and supporting daily operations like stocking and loading. Whether you're helping a neighbor find the right product or keeping the sales floor organized, your contribution helps keep the store running smoothly. Key Responsibilities

• Store Operations – Support daily operations including loading customer purchases (e.g., pipe, bagged goods) and facility upkeep
• Inventory & Merchandising – Receive deliveries, stock shelves, and organize merchandise for easy shopping. Ensure accurate labeling, pricing, and signage while keeping aisles clean, safe, and visually appealing. Assist with seasonal resets, promotions, and timely replenishment
• Customer Service – Deliver friendly, helpful service by welcoming customers, assisting with product selection, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Sales Support – Recommend solutions, promote Ace Rewards, and support store sales goals through personalized customer interactions
• Teamwork & Communication – Collaborate with teammates and take direction from management to ensure smooth store operations
• Learning & Growth – Take part in ongoing training to strengthen product knowledge, service skills, and career development

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ability to operate a forklift and other heavy equipment
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
• Strong communication and people skills with a customer-first mindset
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn store systems
