Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Road Striping Superintendent to lead and oversee all aspects of roadway marking projects. This role involves managing teams, coordinating with clients and contractors, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality striping work efficiently and on schedule. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction management skills, extensive experience in heavy civil or roadway projects, and a passion for maintaining safety standards. As a key leader on our team, you will drive project success from planning through completion, ensuring all work meets specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Duties

  • Lead and supervise road striping crews to ensure timely and accurate application of pavement markings in accordance with project plans and schematics
  • Coordinate project schedules with management team.
  • Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to understand project scope, technical requirements, and safety protocols
  • Conduct quality control inspections using tools to verify line size, durability and adherence to standards
  • Manage project budgets, track costs, and oversee procurement of materials including traffic paints, tapes, and thermoplastic
  • Enforce OSHA safety regulations on-site, conduct safety meetings, and ensure all team members adhere to construction site safety protocols
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve issues promptly while maintaining project timelines and quality standards
  • Oversee the use of construction management software like ProCore or Bluebeam for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes
  • Supervise subcontractors and vendors involved in pavement marking activities to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
  • Maintain detailed records of daily progress, safety incidents, material usage, and field reports for project documentation

Experience

  • Proven management experience supervising roadway construction projects with a focus on pavement marking or striping operations
  • Extensive knowledge of construction site safety regulations (OSHA) and best practices in traffic control and roadway work environments
  • Strong background in construction estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and project management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Excel, Outlook
  • Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques specific to roadway projects
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining high standards of quality control and safety compliance
  • Familiarity with field measurement tools and techniques
  • Experience working with contracts related to roadway construction projects is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams

Pay: $54, $65,605.80 per year
