ERP Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced ERP Solutions Architect to act as the strategic and technical authority for our enterprise ERP ecosystem. This role bridges business strategy and technology execution to deliver scalable, future-ready ERP solutions aligned with organizational goals.

The ERP Solutions Architect partners with stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to define architectures, guide the full ERP lifecycle, and ensure platform integrity. They provide governance on solution design, aligning application changes and business processes with enterprise standards, best practices, and long-term scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the design authority for the ERP platform, reviewing and approving all application enhancements, integrations, and custom development.
• Establish solution architecture standards and guidelines to ensure consistency, scalability, and compliance across all ERP modules.
• Maintain oversight of technical debt and enforce adherence to ERP best practices.
• Evaluate new technologies, tools, and add-ons for compatibility with the ERP landscape.

• Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and end-users to understand needs, pain points, and requirements.
• Lead discovery sessions to map requirements into future-state ERP processes and system designs that support business objectives while minimizing unnecessary customization.
• Facilitate and run design workshops, architecture reviews, and roadmap presentations with internal teams, external partners, and executive steering committees.
• Identify and champion opportunities for automation, workflow optimization, and process re- engineering to drive efficiency and alignment across the organization.

Implementation & Delivery

• Provide architectural leadership throughout the ERP implementation lifecycle (design, build, test, deploy, and support).
• Oversee integration design with third-party systems and legacy applications.
• Define and validate data migration and master data governance strategies.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by validating system integrity against approved designs.

• Serve as the primary ERP solution owner and trusted advisor to executive leadership, explaining technical options in business terms to ensure proposed solutions align with strategy and constraints.
• Drive the ERP roadmap strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise digital transformation goals and long-term sustainability by balancing innovation with maintainability.
• Mentor and guide internal ERP developers, analysts, and consultants on design standards and architectural principles.
• Coordinate between developers, operations, vendors, and business units to resolve conflicts, clarify priorities, and maintain strategic alignment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 10+ years of ERP implementation and solution architecture experience.
• Hands-on expertise with Business Central, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Navision.
• Proven track record as an ERP Solutions Architect or ERP Technical/Business Architect.
• Deep understanding of ERP integration patterns, development frameworks, and cloud architecture.
• Strong knowledge of business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, HR, and Sales.
• Experience with application governance, SDLC, and DevOps practices.
• Skilled at translating complex business processes into streamlined, efficient system solutions.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills across all levels.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to align ERP solutions to business goals.

Preferred Qualifications

• ERP certification(s) (Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle ERP, SAP, etc.).
• Experience with Agile/Scaled Agile ERP delivery models.
• Familiarity with compliance, security, and regulatory requirements (SOX, GDPR, ISO, ITGC).
• Background in cloud-native ERP architecture and modernization initiatives.

Physical Job Requirements:

• Ability to work in an office environment (remote or onsite) with extended screen time.
• Must be able to communicate effectively via video conferencing, phone, and written correspondence.
• Occasional travel may be required depending on project or business needs.
