Compensation: $20/hr-$30/hr, depending on experience.

We are expanding our operations and launching a new facility in Tennessee, and we are seeking a hands-on Shipper & Material Handler to help us grow and maximize this critical operation.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipper/Material Handler to support our fast-paced flexographic printing operation. This position is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely handling of materials, including receiving raw materials, staging inventory for production, and preparing finished goods for shipment. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse or shipping experience, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Shipping & Receiving:
- Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments according to customer requirements and internal standards.
- Pick products from finished goods inventory to fulfill customer orders and prepare for shipment.
- Load/unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
- Document all shipping and receiving transactions accurately in inventory systems.
Material Handling:
- Stage raw materials and supplies for printing presses and converting machines.
- Transfer finished goods from production areas to designated warehouse or shipping locations.
- Replenish production materials as needed to minimize downtime.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
General Duties:
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and production support area.
- Follow company safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to meet customer deadlines and expectations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1+ year experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations; experience in printing or manufacturing preferred.
- Forklift certification (or ability to become certified).
- Basic computer skills; experience with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
Team-oriented with good communication skills.
Working Conditions:
- Manufacturing and warehouse environment; exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
- May require overtime and occasional weekend work based on production demands.
