Software Engineer (San Francisco / In-Person)

A YC-backed Series A startup is building AI teammates that resolve over a million customer support tickets monthly. We're working with some of the most recognizable names in food delivery and crypto, and just closed a large Series A round with Y Combinator, Nexus VP, and Tier 1 investors. With multi-year contracts signed and rapid revenue traction, we're scaling our lean team of engineers to power the next trillion voice interactions.
What You'll Do
- Build and scale full-stack ML-driven applications powering AI customer service agents
- Own backend services in Python/Django and frontend experiences in with ShadCN
- Architect and deploy infrastructure on AWS or GCP with a focus on scalability and reliability
- Collaborate directly with founders and senior engineers to influence technical direction
- Ship quickly, independently, and with a high level of ownership in a fast-moving environment
Who You Are
- 3–5 years of hands-on software engineering experience (professional or equivalent)
- Strong backend experience in Python (Django a big plus)
- Frontend proficiency with React, , and modern component libraries (ShadCN)
- Solid cloud engineering skills (AWS or GCP)
- Bonus: built LLM agents/tools, shipped side projects independently, or worked at a top-tier startup/quant firm
