Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Waste Management Sales Representative located in Washington D.C Metropolitan . The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, generating leads, and meeting sales targets. Daily activities include conducting client meetings, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and providing excellent customer relationships. The role requires clear communication with clients and collaboration with internal teams to ensure client needs are met.

Qualifications

  • Sales and negotiation skills, including the ability to develop client relationships, meet quotas, and close deals
  • Customer service and communication skills, emphasizing active listening and effective client engagement
  • Time management and organizational skills to manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with CRM software, data entry, and basic office software such as Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of the waste management or environmental services industry - preferred
  • Industry background and experience - preferred
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to client sites
