Associate-level Systems Engineer (Models and Simulations Requirements Development)

Why This is an Exciting Role:

As an Associate-Level Systems Engineer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), this position will be supporting the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Element Modeling and Simulation development and integration for updates to the GMD Element. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development and verification of the requirements for GMD High and Medium Fidelity Model and Simulation (M&S) products. You will develop requirements in DOORS and write/execute test cases for those requirements.

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Secret Security Clearance
• Experience with or knowledge of one or more of the following: DOORS, Cameo
• Ability to understand complex system designs and algorithms
• Ability to derive a system requirement based on capability needs statements
• Experience verifying requirement implementation
• Experience working with an Agile-based development team
• Experience briefing completed work at iteration demonstrations and to stakeholders

Desired Qualifications:

• GMD program experience
• System of Systems of Integration experience
• Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to review performance and identify root cause and recommend solutions
• Knowledge of Agile development process
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, or the Atlassian tool suite (Jira)
• Utilization of Digital Engineering environment
  Good verbal written communication skills, must be able to work independently and will possess the poise and flexibility required to work in a highly dynamic environment

Summary Pay Range:
