What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to all visitors, students, and staff by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the building by verifying identification and/or visitor credentials as required.
• Assist with visitor registration and direct individuals to appropriate locations within the facility.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor logs as required by site procedures.
• Work closely with campus personnel and Allied Universal management to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities.
• Support emergency response activities from the front desk, following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
