This role focuses on building, maintaining, and optimizing in-house apps — including our price list builders, financial dashboards, and production management tools — all built primarily on Retool, Postgres, and Google Workspace. The ideal candidate combines coding skill with operational thinking and enjoys turning complex workflows into clear, automated systems.

- Build new Retool apps and backend services to streamline production and financial operations.
- Maintain and optimize Postgres databases used across departments.
- Create automations between QuickBooks, Postgres, and Google Sheets for live data syncing.
- Develop and document scripts (JavaScript, Python, or ) for data processing and API integrations.
- Support leadership with custom reporting and performance dashboards.
- Ensure system reliability, data integrity, and continuous improvement across all tools.
- Work cross-department to identify workflow pain points and implement digital solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with Retool, SQL/Postgres, and API integration.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and Python for backend automations.
- Strong data modeling and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online, Google Workspace, and workflow automation tools.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple internal systems simultaneously.
