Full Time Service Writer Needed ASAP

We are a small but busy family owned automotive repair shop. We work hard to deliver excellent service to our customers.
Your Role:
- Customer Service
- Scheduling Customers
- Ordering Parts/ Parts Management
Qualities Needed in this Role:
Detail-oriented -
*You must be able to follow the procedures from when a customer comes in to the end where they pick up their vehicle.
Great customer service skills-
* You can deal with different personalities from customers*
You can read, write, and speak well.
Spanish speakers is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES IN DETAIL:
- Welcome customers warmly and assist them with their service needs
- Listen attentively to customers' concerns and accurately document their service requirements
- Schedule appointments efficiently and manage the service calendar effectively
- Provide clear and accurate estimates for services and communicate pricing information transparently to customers
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services and maintain workflow efficiency
- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles and any additional repairs or maintenance needed
- Contacting part companies for the part with the best price and quickest delivery time
- Maintain organized records of service orders, invoices, and customer interactions
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in service writing or mechanics welcome to apply. We can train you for the position
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with automotive service software (e.g., Mitchell, AllData)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
