Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Legal Advisor/ Contract Specialist to provide strategic legal support across the company's global operations. This role involves advising on a wide range of legal matters, drafting and negotiating complex IT and ITES-related agreements, and ensuring compliance with employment and regulatory requirements across multiple geographies. The role requires providing legal advice and opinions on a host of issues pertaining to day-to-day operations of the company and its initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management:
Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements including:

  • Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
  • Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
  • Confidentiality Agreements
  • IT and ITES-related contracts

Primarily, drafting, vetting, and negotiating various types of IT and ITES-related agreements, Non-disclosure/ Confidentiality agreements, Master Service Agreements and related agreements.

Ensure contracts are compliant with applicable laws and aligned with business objectives.

Legal Advisory:

  • Provide timely and practical legal advice to internal stakeholders on:
  • Employment law and workplace matters
  • Statutory and regulatory compliance across geographies
  • Risk mitigation strategies
  • The responsibility is to provide legal advice and opinions on a host of issues pertaining to day-to-day operations of the company and its initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, Procurement, and Operations.

Global Support
:

  • Support business operations in North America, Europe, and LATAM regions.
  • Provide advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on a wide range of topics including employment matters, statutory & regulatory compliance matters across geographies. Work closely with all functional groups.
  • Stay updated on international legal developments and ensure compliance with local laws.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Independently interact with managers and leaders across all levels of the organization.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams to proactively address legal issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB); Master's degree (LLM) preferred.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in corporate legal advisory, preferably in IT/ITES sectors.
  • Strong understanding of international contract law and employment regulations.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across time zones.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in a global legal team.
  • Familiarity with data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong business acumen.
