Our client, a leader in high-precision engineering and manufacturing, is seeking a US - Sr Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a US - Sr Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Mechanical Engineering Department supporting innovative projects and collaborative teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, proactive problem-solving skills, and effective communication, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

• Design and develop high-speed rotating machinery components, including layout and internal parts, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D CAD models using Siemens NX and manage data within Teamcenter.
• Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and interpret GD&T to ensure manufacturing precision.
• Support gearbox design programs and collaborate closely with project engineers and design teams to meet project milestones.
• Apply FEA and topological optimization tools to develop weight-optimized, efficient designs.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5+ years of mechanical design engineering experience, with proficiency in NX modeling and drafting.
• Experience in high-speed rotating machine design, including electric motors, generators, and turbomachinery.
• Prior experience as a systems design lead, with a strong understanding of electrical concepts and tolerance analysis.
• Must be a US Citizen due to ITAR restrictions.
