We're actively seeking a talented Sr. Internal Digital Communications Specialist to join our Internal Communications Team in Newport Beach, CA.

As a Sr. Internal Digital Communications Specialist, you'll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward by managing the technical execution and visual design of internal digital communications across email and intranet platforms. You will fill new role that sits on a team of 3 - 5 people on the Internal Communications Team in the People Experience function. Your colleagues will include a group of communications professionals.

How You'll Help Move Us Forward

• Build, test, and deploy email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud using advanced features such as Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and AMPscript.
• Implement segmentation and personalization strategies; track and analyze
• Oversee intranet operations and lead the integration of new features like AI and cross-platform tools.
• Manage the technical operations and backend configuration of the intranet, with a focus on maintaining data integrity and platform functionality.
• Partner with communications and technical stakeholders to align on campaign goals, timelines, and content strategies.
• Create branded digital assets for emails and intranet, enhancing readability and visual appeal across internal channels.
• Maintain and troubleshoot data extensions, distribution lists, and API integrations to ensure campaign accuracy and reliability.
• Partner with IT and intranet vendor to troubleshoot issues, implement upgrades, and ensure platform scalability and security.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on our intranet platform, including user permissions, digital integrations, content governance, and analytics.
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to enhance user experience across digital channels.

The Experience You Bring

• 5+ years of digital marketing experience
• 3+ years as a power user of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget) platform required. Experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and AMPscript essential.
• Ability to use HTML, Text, and Amp Script to solve template creation challenges.
• Experience managing and configuring intranet or employee experience platforms (e.g., Workvivo, SharePoint, LumApps), including analytics, permissions, and integrations.
• Strong visual design skills and familiarity with tools like Adobe Creative Suite.

What Makes You Stand Out

• Demonstrated ability to design and optimize multi-step, automated customer journeys using Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in tools like Tableau, Power BI, or SQL to analyze campaign performance and derive actionable insights.
• Ability to apply user experience principles and creative thinking to enhance internal communications and digital engagement.

Base Pay Range
The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$100, $122,870.00
