About the Role

We are seeking and experienced and hands-on Human Resources Manager to serve as the senior-most Human Resources leader in the United States for our growing global medical device organization. This role is both strategic and operational, partnering closely with leaders to support business growth while overseeing all core HR functions. Reporting to the CFO, the HR Manager will play a critical role in shaping our people strategy, strengthening employee engagement, and ensuring compliant, effective HR practices. This role will be required to be onsite daily in our Huntersville, NC headquarters.

What You'll Be Doing in This Role

As our HR Manager, you will have broad responsibility across the full employee lifecycle and act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Serve as a strategic HR Business Partner to leadership, aligning people initiatives with business goals.
  • Lead Performance Management processes, coaching managers on goal setting, feedback, and development.
  • Partner on Organizational Design and Workforce Planning to support growth and scalability.
  • Manage Employee Relations, including investigations,conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
  • Drive Employee Engagement and Culture initiatives, including surveys and action planning.
  • Oversee Compensation programs, including benchmarking, merit cycles, and equitable pay practices.
  • Manage Benefits programs (health, welfare, retirement, leaves) and vendor relationships.
  • Oversee Payroll Administration, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Ensure Compliance with U.S. employment laws and support HR policies and documentation within a regulated medical device environment.

  • A seasoned HR generalist with broad-based experience across all  facets of Human Resources.
  • Comfortable operating as the senior-most HR leader in the U.S.,  with the ability to work autonomously 
  • A strong communicator and coach who builds trust with leaders and employees alike.
  • Equally effective at strategy and hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a regulated industry (medical device or life sciences, or similar).
  • Demonstrated experience as an HR business partner supporting managers and executive leadership.
  • Strong working knowledge of employee relations, compensation, benefits, and payroll.
  • Experience supporting global or multi-location workforces preferred.
  • Experience supporting a production team preferred
  • Must have strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Experience with Paylocity as HRIS preferred
  • Experience with Glint as a survey platform a plus
