Description
The Delivery Dispatch Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Lukas Nursery's Landscape Delivery & Installation department by managing daily schedules, coordinating logistics, and ensuring timely communication between the Landscape Foreman, Design team, and customers. This position ensures that all deliveries, installations, and service appointments are efficiently scheduled and completed to meet project timelines, safety standards, and customer expectations. This full-time, Non-Exempt position requires strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. The Delivery Dispatch Coordinator must thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Coordinate and maintain the daily and weekly schedules for all landscape delivery and installation projects
  • Dispatch crews, vehicles, and materials efficiently to meet project deadlines
  • Serve as the central communication point between the Foreman, and installation teams
  • Confirm project details, site readiness, and material availability prior to scheduling
  • Communicate scheduling updates, delays, and changes promptly to all relevant parties
  • Track and monitor project progress throughout the day to ensure schedules are maintained
  • Maintain accurate records of crew assignments, delivery routes, and completed work
  • Assist with reviewing work orders and ensuring all necessary materials and equipment are assigned
  • Support the Landscape Foreman in managing logistics, vehicle assignments, and route optimization
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to scheduling inquiries, confirming appointments, and updating customers on delivery or project status
  • Assist in developing and improving scheduling systems and processes for efficiency

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in scheduling, dispatching, logistics coordination, or administrative support (landscape or construction industry preferred)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in scheduling software, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with field teams, and management
  • Dependable, punctual, and customer-focused
  • Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills
