Purpose:Be right in the heart of hospitality as you help create memorable moments with guests as our Food & Beverage Host/Hostess. Your warm and inviting personality will set the tone for our guests' experiences during their stay with us. Provide high-quality service while guests enjoy one of our unique dining experiences. Provide menu assistance, answer questions over the phone and in person, and direct guests to the correct dining location. environments.
Primary Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Managing the Business:
The Food & Beverage Host/Hostess will work 8-10+ hours per shift, 5 or 6+ days each week, based on occupancy and staffing demand. Holidays and weekends are affected by peak demand which means all team members must work together during those days to keep our operations running efficiently.
Welcome guests with a friendly smile, answer questions, and assist them with the menu.
Manage wait times and reservations with poise.
Ensure the dining area stays well maintained.
Follow all set restaurant policies, in compliance with FDA and corporate guidelines.
Collaborate with other hosts and hostesses to create smooth processes.
Receive TOSHA certification to handle biohazards in compliance with proper training. Understand all safety regulations and operate systems in accordance with all safety measures.
Instruct guests on how to operate cashless payment systems.
Host a safe and interactive environment that all children and families can enjoy.
Interact with team members and guests in a positive and friendly manner during all shifts, in all situations.
Knowledge and ability to comply with all company operating policies and procedures.
Perform other incidental and related duties as required and/or assigned.

- Ability to accept that conflict happens; act to clarify the issue, bring parties together, identify a solution and monitor for resolution.
- Stand and walk for most of the workday.
- Apply physical dexterity with some bending, stretching, reaching, grabbing, holding, and carrying.
- Climb 3-5 flights of stairs, sometimes multiple times per day.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Customer experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Outgoing and have excellent people skills.
- Ability to work efficiently with others.
- Ability to deal with a diversified workforce.

Essential Functions:
Specific vision abilities required for this job include peripheral, distance, close, and depth perception and the ability to adjust vision focus. The employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and sit, use hands to finger, touch, handle, and feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb and descend numerous flights of stairs consistently. The employee is required to use hand, arm, and leg to reach, bend, push, pull, stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds daily on their own. Ability to tolerate various temperatures while working outdoors with exposure to high or low temperatures, sun, humidity, chemicals, chlorine and water. Some work will be performed indoors and/or in an indoor office environment. Stand and walk for the majority of the day. This position requires continuous ability to remember information.
