Job Description:

  • Responsible for providing mortgage origination services to potential mortgage application customers.
  • Advises and directs mortgage applicants to appropriate loan programs based on the initial interview.
  • Guides the application process, assisting applicants through all stages and qualifies potential applicants.
  • Serves as a member of the Bank's Business Development Team, makes group sales calls where these types of calls will improve the opportunity for new business development.
  • Assists customers in obtaining specialized services from other Bank departments as necessary; provides help to customers with specific inquiries or service problems.
  • Provides direction, leadership, and expertise to various assigned community offices in regard to business development and lending activities.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills and sales skills a must.
  • Ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the area and market and will have developed contacts with real estate agents, law firms, CPAs, etc.
  • Minimum of four years related experience normally required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Specialized mortgage training and mortgage origination experience normally required.

Compensation: Base plus commission.. Posting reflects base pay.
