Our client, a $300M/yr Water Treatment Plant and public works general contractor, is seeking an experienced WTP Project Manager to join their team on a new project near Oxnard, CA. The ideal candidate will have a background in self-performing Water Treatment Plant construction projects.

Be a part of a winning team where your opinions matter. A qualified person for this position will have 7+ years of self-performed experience in Heavy Civil / Water, Wastewater Treatment Plant construction. This position is office-based with limited regional travel.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience in Water Treatment Plant construction
  • BS Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering (or related field), or equivalent experience required
  • Proven experience in managing projects in the $5M- $40M range from beginning to end
  • Experience in managing self-perform forces in Heavy Highway construction

Responsibilities

  • As the PM, you'll be responsible for the complete execution of various projects from beginning to end.
  • You will manage a team of Superintendents, Project Engineers, and associated field management.
  • You will be responsible for managing subordinates and subcontractors.
  • The Project Manager position's accountability includes, but is not limited to: Pre-construction, Project Set-up, Project Cost-Control, Scheduling, Complete Project Oversight, and Profit & Loss.
