About the Role

As a Veteran Employment Advocate / Placement Coordinator, you'll play a direct role in connecting transitioning service members, veterans, and military-connected job seekers to civilian opportunities.

You'll collaborate with our founder and recruiting team in a mentorship-driven, high-trust environment. Your role is not about cold calling or chasing clients, your mission is to ensure every candidate is heard, supported, and placed with care.

• Manage and maintain active job postings for veteran-friendly roles

• Screen incoming resumes and conduct initial candidate outreach

• Communicate with veterans by phone, text, and email with empathy and professionalism

• Assist in preparing candidate submissions to employer partners

• Ensure every applicant receives follow-up and closure, no one left behind

• Keep accurate records and notes in our CRM/ATS systems

• Support internal operations, veteran hiring events, and outreach initiatives

Who You Are

• A strong communicator who can connect authentically by phone and email

• A transitioning service member, approved by their respective command for SkillBridge participation. 

• Detail-oriented and tech-comfortable, able to track work in tools like CRMs, spreadsheets, and calendars

• Self-motivated and mission-driven, you thrive in dynamic environments and care about results

• Exploring post-military paths in HR, recruiting, workforce development, or people operations
