Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse worker/Delivery driver to join our team in our Furniture business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting household goods (furniture) safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse workings and the ability to handle various tasks related to stock management, order fulfillment, and equipment operation. When not driving, warehouse associate duties will be assigned.

Hours/Pay:

Full Time, $22 to $24 per hour, Monday through Friday day shift.

Duties:

Safely operate up to a 26' box truck to transport goods (furniture) to designated locations.

Load and unload cargo, ranging for 25 to 250 pounds ensuring proper handling of materials utilizing team lift approach.

Manage inventory by picking, packing, and organizing stock as needed.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory levels.

Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance issues.

Comply with all OSHA regulations and safety standards during operations.

Skills needed:

3 years minimum driving record (must be a clean record).

Must be able to communicate in English.

Experience with picking, packing, and order fulfillment processes.

Strong understanding of safety protocols, including OSHA guidelines.

Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing and delivery.

THIS JOB REQUIRES HEAVY LIFTING. WE DON'T USE PALLETS; WE DON'T USE FORKLIFTS. We follow a strict safety protocol and have machine pickers and hand trucks to assist.
