We are currently seeking a dedicated, experienced Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a manager-in-Training role. This is a great opportunity to grow in a leadership position with a focus on patient care, clinical operations, and team development.

Position Overview:

As a Manager in Training, you will undergo a comprehensive 6-month hands-on training program designed to prepare you for a leadership role within our clinics. During this period, you will be paid $22.00 per hour. Upon successful completion of training, you will advance into a management position with a competitive salary increase to $28–$30.00 per hour, based on performance and skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clinic operations and assist in the daily management of patient care.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating excellent customer service and clinical expertise.
  • Assist in supervising and training clinical staff, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Oversee patient intake, preparation for procedures, and post-procedure care.
  • Ensure smooth communication between medical providers, patients, and staff.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Travel between our three clinic locations (Phoenix, Avondale, and Peoria) as required.
  • Provide guidance and support to other Medical Assistants and clinical staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Manage remote staff and ensure effective communication and productivity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve patient billing questions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Oversee internal revenue cycle processes to ensure accurate billing and payments.
  • Assist with employee recruitment, management, and onboarding.
  • Oversee payroll processing for clinic staff.
  • Manage, update, and enforce all clinic policies, procedures, and workflows to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a medical clinic or hospital setting.
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant school or an accredited LPN program.
  • Must be a Registered Medical Assistant with the state of Arizona or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Arizona.
  • Preferably holds a National Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA or similar) or an associate's degree in a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with staff and patients.
  • Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be a quick learner with the ability to retain and apply training.
  • Exceptional attendance and reliability.
  • Ability to travel to multiple clinic locations as needed.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be willing to commit to at least 2 years of employment upon hiring.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required, based on clinic needs.
