Dispatcher

At Globe Communications, LLC, as a Dispatcher, you'll manage technician schedules, assign tasks, and coordinate communication between customers, technicians, and other departments. You'll track work status, update records, and ensure timely completion of service requests.

• Manage and prioritize technician schedules, tasks and quotas to efficiently meet customer needs
• Dispatch orders, messages, and special instructions to technicians and other departments
• Track work status, provide updates, and escalate issues as necessary
• Create, manage, and close tickets while updating logs as needed
• Handle and process data from multiple sources
• Create maps, upload permits, and handle related documentation
• Keep records of service calls and work orders
• Monitor and respond to customer and technician communications to resolve scheduling or service conflicts
• Other duties as assigned

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• At least one year of previous dispatch experience is preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Basic computer skills is preferred

What you'll do…

• You will perform tasks and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  You will maintain processes to assist completion of tasks in support of an assigned area, department, or project.
  
  You will communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist an assigned area, department, or project.
• You will provide assistance to less tenured/experienced dispatchers when needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Communicate with supervisor issues or concerns with field technicians.
• Track and monitor technician job status within time frames and adjust work load when necessary.
• Access and input information in the customer's database.
• Perform pre and post calls to subscribers.
• May prepare reports or perform other similar duties as requested.
• The hours vary based on the shifts we have to cover. Being that it's 24/7, we have morning, evening, and night shift.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills suitable to dealing with the public necessary.
• Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment.
