Position Description:

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Regional Director to lead sales efforts across Southern California. This individual will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with financial advisors while driving revenue growth through a consultative, solutions-oriented approach. The Regional Director is responsible for raising net new assets for the firm and servicing the firm's existing client base across Horizon's key accounts, RIAs, and other points of distribution. This position requires that you are well organized, structured, and can be disciplined in sales systems and processes.

The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional with deep industry expertise, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a proven ability to translate client needs into actionable outcomes. Success in this role requires a strong command of consultative selling and the ability to differentiate by delivering holistic value beyond product, consistently uncovering and addressing advisor needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive territory sales by executing a proactive outbound strategy: client meetings, events, and follow-ups - demonstrating a strong sense of ownership, managing the territory like their own business-proactive, entrepreneurial, accountable.Travel within the territory to build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and meetings to achieve sales targets.Meets or exceeds all territory and firm sales goals for their assigned territory.Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the firm's products and services to effectively communicate the value of Horizon's solutions that best align with their business objectives.Develop, implement, and maintain a territory business plan in partnership with the National Sales Director to increase sales revenue and market share within an assigned area of responsibility, targeting specific advisor segments and key accounts.Work collaboratively with a dedicated Internal Advisory Specialist to maximize territory sales efforts and meet sales targets.Maintain a disciplined sales process: tracking pipeline activity, key KPIs, advisor engagement, and follow-up tasks in CRM.Provide superior service to ensure growth and retention of assets, serving as a trusted advisor to clients, providing investment insights, guidance, and business consultation.Represent the firm as a trusted solutions partner at national conferences, regional meetings, and other industry events to promote the firm's offerings and value proposition and promote brand awareness.Maintain all activity in dedicated CRM to properly track all sales efforts, client contacts and any other necessary information.

Proven track record in financial services sales, especially in a wholesaler role with a history of meeting and exceeding sales targets.Success in this role requires a strong command of consultative selling and the ability to differentiate by delivering holistic value beyond product, consistently uncovering and addressing advisor needs.You must be a self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.Understands and applies concepts of goals-based investing, planning-first engagement, and a solutions-based sales approach.You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.Comprehensive knowledge of financial markets, investment advisory products, and industry trends.

Qualifications and Requirements:

The Regional Director will be based out of their respective home office that's required to be in one of the major regions within their geographic territory and have access to a major airport that serves all of their respective states.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in financial services related sales or consultingExperience with large independent broker-dealers firms and registered investment advisers required.FINRA series 7 and 65/66 requiredAbility to meet extensive travel requirements.Established relationships within territory
