Job Summary

2nd Shift Hours - We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to customer service. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently to their destinations while ensuring a pleasant experience throughout the journey.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a taxi vehicle in compliance with traffic laws and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with their needs, including luggage handling and route information.
  • Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, time, and fare collection.
  • Ensure the taxi is clean, well-maintained, and in good working order before and after each shift.
  • Navigate efficiently through city streets using GPS or maps to optimize routes.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding safety and passenger care.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding pick-up locations and any issues that may arise during trips.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience as a taxi driver, delivery driver, bus driver, or in paratransit services is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse passengers.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
